Hooray it’s here! Delivered via Fed Ex, no less. Our free lemonade stand. It’s totally cool, surprisingly well made and the kids are ecstatic. The kids decided they wanted to help animals, so we will be donating our sales profits to the Mid Atlantic Great Dane Rescue. We’ve got lemonade, cookies and brownies. Now, if [...]

A favorite summer pass-time of ours is walking down to the river to watch the blue crabs. We’ve been anxiously awaiting their arrival this summer and finally saw a few last week. In summer’s past the kids have loved walking the few blocks to the water to watch the crabs and try to catch one. [...]

We’ve managed to [...]

Just thought I’d post some of the kids’ artwork. It seems to take over the house at times…the fridge, countertops and dressers are often covered with paintings, collages, models and the like. I’ll post some favorites here and then maybe reclaim some counter space!

For the past few months we’ve been swapping post cards with people all over the U.S. and Canada. We joined an online group called Post Card Kids and have collected some really cool cards. We have put up a map and we highlight the cities and states we receive cards from as we trade. It’s [...]
